The Offshore Energy Research Association (OERA), in partnership with the Nova Scotia Department of Energy, are pleased to host our 7th bi-annual Nova Scotia Energy R&D Conference at St. Francis Xavier University in beautiful Antigonish, Nova Scotia on May 25-26th, 2016.
The 2014 Nova Scotia Energy R&D Conference was a tremendous success with increased student participation, record registration and broad delegate engagement. The event brought together local, national, and international leaders from government, industry, and academia to build on the current state of knowledge – where over 75 subject area experts presented their research sharing their knowledge, expertise and findings related to the continued development of energy found under our waters and on our lands. Once again we will use the two day event to continue to strengthen our networks, be informed about the cutting-edge work of others, and be inspired about research opportunities and capabilities. In the coming months, OERA will provide details on the R&D Conference’s student poster competition, where students will be eligible to win cash prizes.
We will continue to build on the success of our previous Nova Scotia Energy R&D Conferences with an program featuring world-class research in the areas of marine geosciences, marine renewables and seismic & marine sound. OERA will keep you informed as the program and registration details become available. All R&D Conference information will be posted on the OERA website.
