Request for Proposals for Pavilion Booth Build Services – ICOE 2016 in Edinburgh, UK

Marine Renewables Canada invites firms to submit a proposal for the design, build and dismantling of the Marine Renewables Canada Pavilion at the 6th International Conference on Ocean Energy (ICOE) 2016, being held at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC), February 23-25, 2016 in Edinburg, UK.

This Pavilion at ICOE 2016 is a joint initiative, with participation from partners: Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA) and the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Canada (DFATD).  The Pavilion will offer Atlantic Canadian and Canadian companies a presence in the ICOE 2016 exhibition as well as space for meetings set up by a contracted matchmaker.  Participating companies are involved in the marine renewable energy and related supply and services sectors.

The objective of the Pavilion is to offer Atlantic Canadian and Canadian companies (estimate 25-30) a base from which to conduct meetings, take enquiries, and display and present information.  The space, which will be identified as the Marine Renewables Canada Pavilion, should offer an inviting area for visitors to enter to collect information, make enquiries, and interact with the Pavilion team. The Pavilion will support Canada’s position as a leader in marine renewable energy, therefore the theme and booth design should embody Canadian renewable energy and marine resources and industry.
