Registration Now Open for the Marine Renewables Spring Summit in Halifax

Halifax (Nova Scotia), March 4, 2026 – Marine Renewables Canada (MRC) is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the Marine Renewables Spring Summit, taking place May 12, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Halifax Marriott Harbourfront Hotel.
Designed as a practical, solutions-focused gathering, the Spring Summit will spotlight how Canadian businesses and communities can position themselves to participate in – and benefit from – the rapidly growing tidal and offshore wind markets.
“This is about building the relationships and readiness that will power the next phase of marine renewables development in Canada,” said Elisa Obermann, Executive Director of Marine Renewables Canada. “The Spring Summit is a new platform for collaboration – connecting developers, suppliers, Indigenous partners and communities to strengthen our supply chain and ensure long-term, inclusive growth.”

The Spring Summit is ideal for supply chain companies currently active in – or looking to enter – the marine renewables sector, Indigenous businesses and organizations, community and regional economic development agencies, project developers, government representatives, training and workforce development institutions.
