Canada Heads to WindEurope 2026: Marine Renewables Canada Leads Trade Mission to Advance Offshore Wind Opportunities

Halifax (Nova Scotia), April 17, 2026 – Marine Renewables Canada (MRC), with support from the Government of Canada, is on the ground next week at WindEurope 2026 in Madrid, Spain, leading a Canadian trade mission of 24 companies and organizations to advance international business opportunities and strengthen Canada’s position in the global offshore wind sector.
WindEurope is one of the world’s premier wind energy events, attracting more than 16,000 participants and 600 exhibitors from across the global energy industry. MRC is proud to host a Canada-focused exhibition booth at the event, showcasing the depth and diversity of Canadian expertise in offshore wind.
With world-class offshore wind resources, increasing policy alignment, and strong global demand for clean energy, Canada is well positioned to compete internationally.
