Ask an Expert | Lessons Learned and Best Practices for Coexistence with Other Ocean Users

June 20 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm ADT

In this fourth installment of MRC’s Ask an Expert webinar series, we delve into the critical topic of Lessons Learned and Best Practices for Coexistence with Other Ocean Users. Offshore wind is an exciting and rapidly growing industry. However, for this industry to thrive, it is essential to ensure harmonious coexistence with other ocean users and uses.

Join us for an insightful session featuring Dr. Alison Bates, Associate Professor of Environmental Studies at Colby College in Maine, who brings extensive expertise in environmental policy and marine spatial planning. Dr. Bates will highlight some of the lessons learned from her work in offshore wind and co-existence, providing valuable knowledge and perspective that can inform the responsible development of offshore wind.
